You guys!! I am so happy that attorney attire is growing. Some of you have reached out lately and asked how I have grown my Instagram account.
A blogger, Jen Miracle, told me when I asked her that very question was: "you have to treat Instagram like a job." So that's exactly what I've been doing. I spend countless hours working on attorney attire's online presence. I engage with other accounts by liking their photos, commenting, and following! I click on hashtags that are similar to mine and like at least 100 photos a day and try to comment on 20.
In the beginning, I also set aside 30 minutes a day to do this. Now, I don't keep track of the time I spend doing this, but I would say it's probably an hour to an hour and a half per day. Moreover, I make sure to post at least once a day on Instagram.
Posting every day can be daunting, so it helps if you have your photos picked out in advance, along with your captions. A lot of people use apps that plan out and schedule their posts. Personally, I don't do this because I like to post what is relevant to me that day or week! But there is no right answer to how you should post-- just make sure you do it.
Even though attorney attire has been growing, I still set weekly goals to ensure growth continues. A few months ago, I wanted to grow by 100 followers a week, and now I try to grow by 100 followers a day.
I know this always isn't going to happen every single day. I have days where logging on Instagram is the last thing I want to do, but I'm always so grateful when I log in, because I get to engage with some awesome people, and it makes it worth it! On the days where growth is slow, I just try to remember it's all part of the process!
